From the entrance, the veranda — open in the warmer months for lunches and dinners outdoors — already announces the character of the place: a setting that recalls a genuine Italian trattoria (a family-style restaurant), with a terracotta floor and an atmosphere that more than one guest has described as suddenly finding themselves in Italy, thousands of kilometres from home.
