Data deletion

It is enough to write to info@eccellenzeitaliane.com from the email address you left with us, or else giving the name of the business and a contact that allows us to recognise you. No form is needed, no reason need be given and there is no charge.

If you have connected your Instagram profile to the network, you can also revoke the connection directly from Instagram, in the settings for connected applications: from that moment we stop reading the data of your profile. Revoking it, however, does not by itself delete what we have already collected — for that the request above is needed.

• The data of the connected social profile: profile name, number of followers, statistics collected and every photograph we may have kept.
• The contents we prepared for you and have not yet published.
• The contact details used to write to you and the history of the messages.
• The requests, the replies and the consents collected through the site.

Deletion takes place within thirty days of the request, and we confirm in writing when it has been carried out.

Some data remains because the law obliges us to keep it, and that does not depend on us: invoices and accounting documents, which the civil code requires to be kept for ten years, and the data needed to prove the existence of a contract for as long as that contract has effect. It is kept for that purpose alone and is no longer used for any other reason.

If your business was published on the portal as a certified excellence, the listing is removed from publication along with the deletion. What had meanwhile already been published on our social channels remains subject to the rules of those platforms: we can remove it, and we do so on request, but we cannot delete copies that others may have saved.
