At number 13 rue du Meyenberg, Maria-Antonietta and Sébastien Fancello chose one of the most beautiful historic houses in Masevaux to safeguard something rare within it: a Southern Italian kitchen kept intact, run every day with the care of those who have never wanted to compromise with local taste.
The dining room welcomes with the kind of simplicity that regulars know well — and gladly return to. The setting is intimate and warm, with a shaded terrace that in summer extends the meal outdoors, among the Alsatian hills and an atmosphere that owes nothing to the fashions of trend-driven dining.
Every day, the kitchen turns out fresh pasta worked by hand according to teachings handed down through generations: ravioli pugliesi, trofie with broccoli, doughs that carry within them the memory of two regions. Pizzas complete the menu, baked to perfection, with selected ingredients and recipes that refuse to be adapted.
