produttori — Rivergaro · Emilia-Romagna
In the green countryside around Piacenza, where the hills of Val Trebbia (Trebbia Valley) slope down toward the plain, Riverfrut has been growing vegetables for over forty years and turning them into ready-to-use products for restaurants and large-scale retail: a path that starts from the soil and never leaves it behind.
In the countryside around Piacenza, in Niviano di Rivergaro, brothers Angelo and Emilio Bertuzzi have worked the land since 1980. Farmers for generations, they have expanded cultivation to around 750 hectares, with tomato and green bean as the main crops: a legacy measured in the fields long before it reaches the product.
The crops follow the Qualità Controllata (Controlled Quality) standard set by the Emilia-Romagna Region and hold GlobalGAP certification, which defines international best practices in agriculture. The company is also listed in the regional register of organic farming operators: no preservatives, no additives, no added oils, from sowing to harvest.
Since the 2000s the range has grown to include fourth- and fifth-range products: purées of asparagus, pumpkin and artichoke, steamed vegetables, ready-to-serve side dishes and vegetable burgers, in one hundred percent recyclable packaging. A line designed for professional dining and large-scale retail, honoured in 2026 by Intesa Sanpaolo in the Imprese Vincenti (Winning Businesses) programme.
From field to shelf, with no intermediaries and no compromises: the page details the range and the distribution channels.
