Inside a facility in Cassano Magnago, in the manufacturing heartland of the Varese area, something is made that almost no one sees but everyone wears: the neutral fabric on which every Made in Italy label is born.
On the workbench, the starting materials line up: acetate, cotton, polyester, nylon and eco-friendly fibres. These are the raw materials of a ribbon mill that since 1962 has been transforming these elements into neutral fabrics for labels, destined to take on voice under every conceivable printing technique.
Production follows rigorous procedures consolidated over more than sixty years of family management. Continuous investment in Research and Development has led to patented fabrics capable of meeting every printing requirement: a technical heritage that today makes Cassano Magnago the last manufacturing plant of its kind in Europe.
The finished rolls, ready to be printed and assembled by customers, carry TÜV, Oeko-Tex and TÜV Austria certifications: guarantees of safety and quality recognised on an international scale. From this shelf, shipments depart to more than seventy countries, serving clothing, furnishing, automotive, cosmetics and Wine & Spirits.
