ristorazione — Siziano · Lombardia
In Siziano, along the Circonvallazione (ring road) that marks the boundary between the village and the Pavia countryside, a restaurant changed course in 2025 and began drawing attention for two precise reasons: pizza and fish.
Il Sorriso found itself again in 2025, when a change of management redefined the offer without giving up the warmth that regulars in Siziano already knew. The result is a place that brings together seafood cooking and the art of pizza, in a setting where table service is handled with genuine care.
The indoor dining room is comfortable and well kept, but on fine days the scene shifts to the outdoor terrace, with seating under the portico: a convivial extension that multiplies the space and changes the pace of the meal. The fixed lunch menu offers direct access to the kitchen's cooking at a measured price.
Two distinct souls come out of the kitchen. The pizza is Roman: thin base, high heat, a crust crisp enough to hold the bite — a precise choice, confirmed by the Margherita Doppia Mozzarella among the most requested dishes. Alongside it, the stoves work fresh fish: the spaghetti allo scoglio (seafood spaghetti) is the dish that comes up most often in regulars' conversations.
The Antipasto Imperiale — Mazara prawns and scampi, carpaccio and tartare of tuna and amberjack — is the best way to understand Il Sorriso. The page tells the rest.
