ristorazione — Andria · Puglia
In the Puglian hinterland, among the hills of the Murgia barese, a family bakery has carried forward since 1959 the tradition of Andria's baked goods: bread, taralli and typical sweets, made every day with natural leavening.
Since 1959, the Morano family has opened the doors of this bakery every morning on Via Ospedaletto, in the heart of Andria. A family-run business that has passed through generations without losing the thread: the same care in every gesture, the same quiet welcome that customers from the northern Bari area have recognised for years.
Behind the counter lie the yeast-free taralli — loose or packaged, also available in large quantities on request — alongside focacce, wholemeal and plain, and typical Puglian sweets: rose, calzoncelli, Christmas specialities that customers await from season to season. The staff, all women, serve with unfailing kindness.
Natural leavening sets the pace: no shortcuts, only the patience of the oven. The pane casereccio (country-style bread) comes out fragrant every day, with a bake that reviewers describe as beyond question. Genuine products that reflect their origin, as the bakery's own website puts it, with nothing added.
