Since 1980, Fartes by Giorgio Mapelli has turned confectionery packaging into an act of style: every box is designed by an in-house graphic artist, built by hand, and made to last well beyond the moment of giving.
The fabric ribbons, bows and coordinated accessories are not details: they are the signature. Every Fartes box is completed with elements chosen for colour, texture and season — a grammar of packaging that pastry chefs and confectioners recognise and seek out, because it can turn a sweet into a gift that speaks of its sender before it is even opened.
An in-house graphic artist works at the bench: every box begins as a design made to measure, adapted to the product and to the client's vision. The work then proceeds by hand, piece by piece, with the creative openness that reviews describe as a distinctive trait. It is this double gesture — design and artisan construction — that brings Fartes, active since 1980, closer to an atelier than to a mass-production supplier.
Two collections a year mark the confectionery calendar: Autumn-Winter with Christmas, Spring with Easter, and Summer. Each collection brings colour coordinates designed for the season — palettes, finishes and accessories that shift register and let pastry shops renew their visual identity, from window displays right down to the last box on the counter.
