The place
Fartes by Giorgio Mapelli is the Turin box-making workshop that has been translating Italian confectionery excellence into handcrafted, made-to-measure packaging since 1980. Every box begins with a design by an in-house graphic designer and is completed with coordinated fabric ribbons, bows and accessories. Two annual collections follow the rhythm of the confectionery seasons, from Autumn-Winter and Christmas to Spring-Summer and Easter.
The origins
Fartes was founded in 1980 in Turin on the initiative of Giorgio Mapelli. The box-making workshop specialised from the outset in packaging for the confectionery sector.

The in-house graphic designer draws each box to measure, adapting it perfectly to the product and the client's creative vision. Every box begins with a direct dialogue with the client.
Fartes makes its boxes by hand, using techniques that ensure precision and care in every detail. This artisan approach allows the workshop to meet customised requests, even for limited runs.
Every box is completed with fabric ribbons, bows and accessories that follow the same colour and stylistic language. Colour-coordinated sets define the seasonal collections.
The workshop offers two annual collections: Autumn-Winter, with a focus on Christmas, and Spring-Summer, centred on Easter. Each collection offers complete colour-coordinated sets.
