ristorazione — Pordenone · Friuli-Venezia Giulia
Under the arcades of Pordenone, where the historic centre slows its pace, an artisan pastry shop brings together fine viennoiserie and specialty coffee of selected origins. An address best discovered early in the morning, when the window display is still full.
Under the arcades of viale Grigoletti, in Pordenone, a discreet entrance holds one of the most original sweet addresses in Friuli. Don Bosco Pasticceria Specialty Coffee was born from the meeting of viennoiserie tradition and a selection of traceable-origin coffees, shaping an identity not easily found elsewhere in the city.
At the counter, the espresso machine works with beans chosen from Cuba, Rwanda, Colombia and Ethiopia, offered in different blends depending on the season and the moment. The coffee arrives at the table with cup, spoon and water: a small gesture that says much about the care given to every detail of service.
In the workshop, the brioches are made with real butter and take unexpected forms: from the pain au chocolat to the New York roll, all the way to the papillon-shaped brioche with chantilly cream and salted caramel. The artisan craftsmanship shows from the first bite — fragrant outside, soft within — while the seasonal sweets, from panettone to frittelle, follow the rhythm of the calendar.
Mignon pastries, custom cakes and seasonal sweets round out an offer worth the stop. The page tells the whole story.
