ristorazione — San Teodoro · Sardegna
On the northeastern coast of Sardinia, where Capo Coda Cavallo opens toward the islands of Tavolara, a restaurant founded in 2021 tells the story of the sea with the same ease with which it watches it every day from its terrace.
Alessandro Giglio and Fabrizio Sulas, two young men from San Teodoro, opened Bellavista on 29 May 2021 with a clear idea: to welcome every guest personally, in the dining room as at the bar. A direct, hands-on management, with no intermediaries, felt in the rhythm of the service and in the way the place presents itself: without distance, with the familiarity of those who know this stretch of coast well.
From the dining room, the view takes in four islands — Tavolara, Molara, Molarotto and Proratora — in a panorama that shifts in colour from lunchtime to sunset. Tables with a view are assigned on request, and those who ask for the best spot are rarely disappointed. The terrace overlooking the square of Villaggio Est is the heart of the place, the reason people come back.
In the kitchen, two traditions coexist: fresh local fish, with raw dishes and seafood first courses that follow the seasons, and the Neapolitan-style pizza of Gaetano Summa, a master pizza maker who works with natural leavening and selected ingredients. The wood-fired oven sets the pace, and every dough carries the care of someone who is in no hurry.
A dish that gathers the sea of Capo Coda Cavallo and the tradition of authentic cooking. The full page is here.
