On the plain north of Treviso, where the countryside runs flat and orderly toward the foothills of the Alps, a family-run farm has spent more than sixty years building a dairy chain that begins and ends on the same land.
In the Treviso countryside, every product is born and finished within the boundaries of the same land. Azienda Agricola Venturin has built a zero-kilometre supply chain in which the milk travels no distance at all: it is collected, processed and brought to the table without intermediaries, with the consistency of people who know every step of their own work.
It all began in the 1960s, when Attilio Venturin settled in Visnadello di Spresiano and founded the farm after years spent between northern Italy, Switzerland and Austria. His children inherited the passion for farming and breeding, turning that family root into a business that has grown without losing its character.
On the dairy's shelves rest the cheeses that have also won over the judges of Caseus Veneti, the regional competition that has awarded medals more than once to Venturin's burrata and mozzarella. Recognition that does not change the method, but confirms that careful, artisan milk processing produces measurable results.
Two shops — in Spresiano and in Treviso — open the door to anyone wanting a closer look at the milk, cheeses and dairy specialities produced right where they are made.
