ristorazione — Santa Marinella · Lazio
On the marina of Santa Marinella, where boats sway beneath the silhouette of the Castello Odescalchi (Odescalchi Castle), Al Porticciolo has carved out a precise place for itself: that of someone who knows the sea well enough to choose only what it truly has to offer.
Facing directly onto the marina, the restaurant carries the geography of the place with it: Via Roma, steps from the water, at the heart of Santa Marinella's marina. Walking in already means choosing a perspective — that of someone who has decided the distance between the catch and the plate should be as short as possible.
The dining room, designed in tones drawn from the sea, seats up to one hundred and twelve without losing its sense of detail. A glass wall opens onto the open kitchen: not a scenic device, but a statement of method. Every step is visible, every choice can be verified. The outdoor space, overlooking the harbour, extends the atmosphere on warmer evenings.
In the kitchen, Chef Enzo Alfieri has worked for forty years, building a repertoire that holds together the freshness of raw seafood — oysters above all, selected with meticulous care — and a fusion-inflected plating style. The raw ingredients arrive from the harbour, technique transforms them: the result is recognisable in every dish.
