Immerso nella natura del Parco dei Monti Simbruini, nella splendida cornice dell’Alta Valle del fiume Aniene e della storica cittadina di Trevi nel Lazio, Il Casale La Foce è il luogo ideale per chi cerca tranquillità e sapori autentici della tradizione laziale, con piatti preparati secondo le antiche ricette di un tempo.
In un accogliente casale circondato dal verde, si può pranzare all’aperto nella veranda durante l’estate o godersi il calore del camino nella sala interna durante i mesi più freddi. Il menù propone piatti abbondanti e genuini, realizzati con ingredienti selezionati provenienti dal territorio.
La pasta fresca, preparata ogni giorno in cucina, si sposa perfettamente con i sughi tipici della tradizione ciociara e trebana, come le pappardelle al cinghiale.
Tra i secondi, si possono gustare specialità di carne proveniente dai migliori allevamenti locali: trippa, coratella, coniglio alla cacciatora e lumache sono solo alcune delle proposte più apprezzate.

All’esterno, un ampio spazio verde recintato accoglie grandi e piccoli: i bambini possono divertirsi nel parco giochi attrezzato, mentre gli adulti si rilassano immersi nella natura e nei profumi del paesaggio. Il vicino fiume Aniene aggiunge un tocco di fascino e serenità all’atmosfera.

we have selected excellent local products and it was never enough that they were only good, we were looking for the best possible.
For this reason we have selected only small producers of cured meats and cheeses who favor quality over quantity and still use those slow aging that allow the unmistakable rich and delicate flavors of the past.
For thirty years we have been making sure that all this finds its right place.

Il locale si trova in una posizione privilegiata, leggermente rialzata rispetto al centro del paese, regalando una vista spettacolare che abbraccia l’intero panorama circostante. Dall’alto, lo sguardo si perde tra le casette colorate di Positano e l’azzurro profondo del mare, creando un’atmosfera unica e suggestiva in ogni momento della giornata.
Durante il pranzo, gli ospiti possono assaporare piatti tradizionali preparati con ingredienti freschi e genuini, ricchi di sapori autentici e legati alla cucina locale. Nel pomeriggio, il locale si trasforma nel luogo ideale per un aperitivo rilassante, accompagnato da una brezza leggera e da una vista che lascia senza fiato.
Quando cala la sera, l’esperienza si fa ancora più magica: il locale propone cene raffinate a base di pesce fresco, servite in un ambiente elegante ma accogliente. La nostra storia.
Een passie herken je op jonge leeftijd. Dit was ook het geval voor Giuseppe Inglima. Op 8-jarige leeftijd begon hij alvast met zijn mama verse pasta te maken, de keuken was zijn werkruimte. Naast zijn studies latijn, vond Giuseppe toch de tijd om in de keuken te staan, om zijn ouders maar vooral zichzelf te bewijzen dat het serveren van gerechten zijn groot
Lo Chef...
Op 14-jarige leeftijd is Giuseppe begonnen in de horeca te werken als bediening. Toen hij 16 jaar werd, heeft hij zijn ouders en zijn omgeving kunnen overtuigen om achter zijn droom aan te lopen. Het was zover, hij mocht naar de hotelschool gaan te Hasselt.
Dankzij zijn gedrevenheid en ervaring voor zijn jonge leeftijd, kreeg hij hogere functies in de keuken. Hierdoor heeft hij een horeca-wedstrijd gewonnen als de jongste, getalenteerdste kok! Als jonge knaap, heeft Giuseppe alle mogelijkheden in de sector gezien. Van bistro tot brasserie, tot zelfs hoog- gastronomische keukens. Zijn passie en hart ligt al van jonge chef in de Italiaanse keuken, waar hij natuurlijk ook vandaan komt.

Met Gastronomia Inglima combineert Giuseppe zijn ervaring in de culinaire sector en traditionele gerechten uit zijn roots om shockerende gerechten te creëren voor zijn gasten. Gastronomia Inglima is een plaats waar traditionele smaken en moderne toetsen elkaar omarmen. In het gezellig centrum van Maaseik kunt u genieten van deze fenomenale gerechten zowel op het terras als in het recent vernieuwd interieur.

The story behind Ristorante la Vela is as unique as the food we serve. A mixture of passion, determination and hard work, paved the way for our restaurant over a decade ago.
Ristorante La Vela as a concept was conceived by Michelle Muscat back in 2008. Accountant by profession, Muscat comes from a food-loving family with a long history in the catering business. La Vela started out as a hobby, however by time, it became a full-time job infused with much passion and dedication.
Through persistence and hard work, Michelle Muscat along with her team of talented chefs, created a place where wonder and amazement are merged into one, a place where you can enjoy a lovely meal and a great time.
This popular dining spot is not only known for its atmospheric ambience, but also for the wonderful dishes which are served to customers. Ristorante La Vela is known for hosting a number of celebrities including many popular singers, actors and football personalities from all over the world.

Enrico
Originally from Scicli, Ragusa where he studied the art of cooking, Enrico has joined the restaurant when he was 21 years old. He has grown with the restaurant for the past nine years and with his unlimited passion and dedication Enrico has proven time after time his talent for cooking.
Enrico is our head chef and together with Vincenzo he is pleasantly surprising our customers with new specialities each week.
Vincenzo
Vincenzo is from Ispica, Sicily, and has been with La Vela for over five years now. His delicious dishes speak for his love and passion for food loud and clear. Coming from Ispica, where he went to catering school, Vincenzo has not only knowledge and skills but also great intuition.
The art of combining flavours and creating mouthwatering compositions has no secrets from him, which he has proven many times.
