It's a family thing.......

Volare Restaurants Ltd has been trading since 2007, and still improving the customer experience as the restaurant has been refurbished with a new suspended ceiling and a new bar... We always strive to give you the best Italian produce at  good value for money during these times of economic hardship. Partners and Hosts Onofrio Maimone and Cinzia Lopalco say "When you come to our place, we'll make all efforts to make sure you feel like you are on holiday in Italy for as long as your stay!".

Onofrio is from Sicily and has an extensive experience in catering. He's been working in the trade all his life and is the chef/proprietor of the establishment.

Cinzia is from Puglia and has been managing holiday farms, where she's learnt the trade and all the aspects of day to day running of kitchen and front of house. In the kitchen, Jason Maimone is our head chef in the kitchen and has followed in Onofrios footsteps and has learnt everything there is to know from his father, he is very talented, very motivated to keep high standards and eager to takeover one day along with his wife Victoria Maimone who is once again very talented in the front of house and she strives to make everyone feel welcomeand enjoy their meal or special occasions with us

At Volare, we have excellent food and a large Wine list to choose from. We source our ingredients locally and the rest is imported from Italy through a network of leading distributors.All this mixed with family style service gives you a true authentic taste of real Italy!

Wir sind ein familiengeführtes, süditalienisches "Ristorante e Pizzeria" mit kalabresischen Wurzeln.
 
Unser Barservice verwöhnt sie vom frisch zugebereitetem Aperitif bis hin zu einem heißen Espresso mit einer haselnussbraunen Crema.
 
Mit unserem Pizzaholzofen im Frontcoocking und mit unserem original italienischem Pizzateigrezept gelingt uns eine große und leicht verdauliche Pizza die kross und gleichzeitig saftig bleibt.
Zudem ist der Ofen ein sehr angenehmer Kollege in den Wintermonaten.
 
Von Antipasto bis Zabaione, von alt bekannten italienischen Speisegerichten hin zu neuen italienischen Kreationen wird bei uns unter kontinuierlicher Verbesserung und einem ständigen Streben nach Gastorientierung in allen Bereichen gearbeitet.
 
Die Auswahl unserer Produkte und das Angebot auf der Karte entscheiden wir gemeinsam am Familientisch unter Berücksichtigung der offenen Kritik unserer Gäste.
Unser gesamtes Team orientiert sich an Nachhaltigkeit und der Frische der zu verarbeitetenden Produkte.
Der Einkauf richtet sich an der Nachfrage der Gäste.

Der Einstieg in der Gastronomie vor ca. 25 Jahren war die richtige Entscheidung, noch heute erfreue ich mich, jeden Tag Gäste zu bedienen und ihnen meine Kultur näher zu bringen.
 
Den Entschluss haben wir damals als Familie getroffen. Den Impuls und den Mut an mich selber zu glauben und mich zu verwirklichen gaben mir mein Vater und meine Mutter. Zusätzlich bestärkten mich meine Geschwister in meinem Entschuss.

The story behind Ristorante la Vela is as unique as the food we serve. A mixture of passion, determination and hard work, paved the way for our restaurant over a decade ago.

Ristorante La Vela as a concept was conceived by Michelle Muscat back in 2008. Accountant by profession, Muscat comes from a food-loving family with a long history in the catering business. La Vela started out as a hobby, however by time, it became a full-time job infused with much passion and dedication.

Through persistence and hard work, Michelle Muscat along with her team of talented chefs, created a place where wonder and amazement are merged into one, a place where you can enjoy a lovely meal and a great time.

This popular dining spot is not only known for its atmospheric ambience, but also for the wonderful dishes which are served to customers. Ristorante La Vela is known for hosting a number of celebrities including many popular singers, actors and football personalities from all over the world.

Meet Our Dedicated Chefs
Enrico

Originally from Scicli, Ragusa where he studied the art of cooking, Enrico has joined the restaurant when he was 21 years old. He has grown with the restaurant for the past nine years and with his unlimited passion and dedication Enrico has proven time after time his talent for cooking.

Enrico is our head chef and together with Vincenzo he is pleasantly surprising our customers with new specialities each week.

Vincenzo

Vincenzo is from Ispica, Sicily, and has been with La Vela for over five years now. His delicious dishes speak for his love and passion for food loud and clear. Coming from Ispica, where he went to catering school, Vincenzo has not only knowledge and skills but also great intuition.

The art of combining flavours and creating mouthwatering compositions has no secrets from him, which he has proven many times.

Il ristorante Donna Assunta, specializzato nella cucina tipica dei campi Flegrei, nasce dalla volontà di Peppe e Rosaria, creatori del progetto ed eredi di una lunga tradizione familiare nel settore dell’ospitalità.

Donna Assunta offre e pone sempre grande attenzione alla scelta delle materie prime e al rispetto delle ricette tradizionali.

Il ristorante è realizzato in un'ambiente accogliente, sobrio e con una proposta gastronomica di ottimo livello. La passione e l'esperienza dei proprietari vi farà assaggiare dei sapori molto accattivanti cominciando dalla semplice pizza, cotta nel forno a legna ma anche pietanze di carne e di pesce preparate secondo la tradizione antica della Cucina tipica dei Campi Flegrei.

Il Menu di Donna Assunta 1954 è caratterizzato dalla scelta di avere un numero relativamente basso di portate ma sempre cucinate al momento oltre che con ingredienti freschi e genuini.
