Meine Geschichte beginnt in einem kleinen Dorf auf Sizilien namens Delia, einem legendären Land voller Kultur und typischer und authentischer Gerichte.
Ich zog nach Deutschland, wo ich in verschiedenen Branchen arbeitete, widmete mich dann aber der Gastronomie als Kellner in einer bekannten sizilianischen Pizzeria.
Diese langjährige Erfahrung ermöglichte es mir, alles über Pizza zu lernen. Nach verschiedenen Entscheidungen plante ich in meinem Kopf, in diesem kleinen Dorf namens Saulheim mein eigenes Unternehmen zu gründen, das mich willkommen hieß und mich an den Ort erinnert, an dem ich aufgewachsen bin.
Jedes Gericht, das ich zubereite, besteht aus frischen Zutaten und Rezepten, die ich gelernt habe und die mir eine berühmte Pizzeria in Sizilien namens Pizzeria 360° Gradi, mit der wir eine Partnerschaft haben, zur Verfügung gestellt habe.
Ich lade Sie ein, diese typischen Gerichte zu probieren, die mit Leidenschaft zubereitet und von mir und meinen Mitarbeitern mit einem Lächeln serviert werden. Leidenschaft und Freundlichkeit.

The story behind Ristorante la Vela is as unique as the food we serve. A mixture of passion, determination and hard work, paved the way for our restaurant over a decade ago.
Ristorante La Vela as a concept was conceived by Michelle Muscat back in 2008. Accountant by profession, Muscat comes from a food-loving family with a long history in the catering business. La Vela started out as a hobby, however by time, it became a full-time job infused with much passion and dedication.
Through persistence and hard work, Michelle Muscat along with her team of talented chefs, created a place where wonder and amazement are merged into one, a place where you can enjoy a lovely meal and a great time.
This popular dining spot is not only known for its atmospheric ambience, but also for the wonderful dishes which are served to customers. Ristorante La Vela is known for hosting a number of celebrities including many popular singers, actors and football personalities from all over the world.

Enrico
Originally from Scicli, Ragusa where he studied the art of cooking, Enrico has joined the restaurant when he was 21 years old. He has grown with the restaurant for the past nine years and with his unlimited passion and dedication Enrico has proven time after time his talent for cooking.
Enrico is our head chef and together with Vincenzo he is pleasantly surprising our customers with new specialities each week.
Vincenzo
Vincenzo is from Ispica, Sicily, and has been with La Vela for over five years now. His delicious dishes speak for his love and passion for food loud and clear. Coming from Ispica, where he went to catering school, Vincenzo has not only knowledge and skills but also great intuition.
The art of combining flavours and creating mouthwatering compositions has no secrets from him, which he has proven many times.

I am so excited to open my new restaurant in Haslemere and I look forward to serving you some of my family favourites and some classic Italian dishes soon.
I have over 20 years experience in managing and working in the catering industry both as an importer and exporter of fine foods from Italy and as a restaurateur in London. I felt it was time to take life a bit easier and start up something for me and my family. The experience I gained from working at United Colours of Benetton and launching Boscoreale, a restaurant which I have now sold, has given me the foundation to start something smaller and more intimate.
My passion is food, family and good company. I look forward to welcoming you to Carlo Independent Italian Restaurant soon and for us to laugh and love food together.

Enotria
Enotria war eine alte Bevölkerungsgruppe, die dem Vorrömischen zugeordnet war. Die Enotri lebten um das 15. Jahrhundert vor Christus in einem Gebiet von beträchtlicher Größe.
Enotria ist nach Enotro, dem Prinz von Arkadien und Sohn Lycains benannt. Es umfasst die heutigen Regionen Basilikata, Kampanien und Kalabrien.
Enotria galt als das Land des Weines, des Wohlergehens, der Harmonie und der Idylle. Sein König Italo war ein weiser und hoch geschätzter Herrscher. Zu seinen Ehren erhielt das heutige Italien seinen Namen.
Die Vorzüge des damaligen Enotria möchten auch wir als Team „Enotria da Miri“ Ihnen näher bringen. Wir wünschen Ihnen einen angenehmen und genussvollen Aufenthalt.

Ristorante Augusto’s è stato per anni uno dei principali punti di riferimento per la cucina italiana ad Aguascalientes, Messico. Amato per l’atmosfera elegante ma familiare, il servizio attento e un menù che unisce tradizione, autenticità e gusto raffinato.
Tra i piatti più apprezzati figuravano pasta fresca fatta in casa, risotti cremosi, secondi piatti di carne e pesce preparati secondo la tradizione italiana, e una selezione di vini pensata per accompagnare ogni portata con equilibrio.
La cura nella scelta degli ingredienti, molti dei quali importati direttamente dall’Italia, ha sempre rappresentato uno dei tratti distintivi del locale. Il ristorante era noto anche per l’attenzione ai dettagli estetici, sia nell’impiattamento che nell’arredamento degli spazi, creando un’esperienza completa e coinvolgente.

Un ambiente curato, dallo stile variegato e frizzante, adatto a tutti. Un posto dove passare una serata in compagnia con gli amici o in famiglia. E di famiglia si parla qui, una famiglia del sud da cui è partito tutto: saliti da Agerola in provincia di Napoli negli anni ’80, da tre generazioni sempre nella pizza e successivamente nella ristorazione.
