The best Italian restaurant on Poole Quay and only a stone’s throw away from the water’s edge. Established in 1993, Da Vinci’s is a family-run business, specialising in fresh local ingredients, cooked in true Italian style.

Whether you are seeking a casual pizza supper in a cosy Italian atmosphere or an exceptional meal in a venue that can cater for your special occasion, Da Vinci’s has the answer. Our beautiful Italian restaurant in Poole has a large outside eating area overlooking the Quay, perfect for enjoying a drink al fresco. Inside, there is a warm and homely downstairs dining room and upstairs our bright dining room features seven windows overlooking the harbour.

We are family-friendly and dog friendly in parts of the restaurant too (hey, we’re Italian!) We can provide highchairs and a children's menu so that the smallest in your group will not feel left out.  Join us on the Quay and experience a taste of Italy in Dorset.

Our Story

Since our opening in 1986, our devoted clientele has witnessed an exciting evolution. However, our heart remains the same.

We still offer lovingly simple & traditional recipes while also presenting new, elaborate & intriguing dishes. Furthermore, we have created exciting new possibilities for our guests with an exceptional list of wines & many other Napolitan specialties, all enhanced by warm hospitality. We strive to be homey, unpretentious, honest & best of all homemade!

Trattoria Ponte San Giovanni è un locale ricco di storia. Fondato nel 1891, col nome di Osteria Ponte San Giovanni, era un punto di riferimento per tutte le persone che si trovavano ad Asiago, grazie anche alla sua posizione centrale, sul corso principale.

Oggi offre prodotti eccellenti dall’aperitivo alla cena.
I piatti genuini, semplici e tradizionali sono preparati con ingredienti stagionali, freschi e del territorio.

Pur trovandosi lungo il corso di Asiago, in estate si può godere della tranquillità della piazzata antistante la chiesa di San Rocco.
