La Bocciofila piovatese, che porta il nome del benefattore Antonio Peiro, è un’associazione sportiva dilettantistica che ha tra i suoi scopi lo sviluppo e la diffusione dell’attività sportiva, in primo luogo il gioco delle bocce, nonché l’aggregazione sociale e l’attività ricreativa.

La sua sede, dotata di servizio bar e pizzeria, si trova dove un tempo sorgeva l’alambicco per la distillazione della menta e proprio sulla scia di questa antica tradizione, oggi è qui possibile fermarsi per degustare un mojito o qualsiasi altra bibita al sapore di menta!

Il Ristorante Pizzeria Santa Maria di Opera, in provincia di Milano, offre una cucina italiana di qualità con piatti realizzati utilizzando materie prime selezionate e una pizza preparata con impasti a lunga lievitazione e cotta nel forno a legna.

Nata nel 2012 per iniziativa di Fathi Zekri Salib George, mette a disposizione dei clienti 80 posti a sedere nell'accogliente sala interna e una ventina nel gazebo esterno, un menù fisso a pranzo e la possibilità di cenare alla carta la sera.

Santa Maria è il luogo adatto per festeggiare ricorrenze come compleanni, cerimonie, eventi in genere.
Ogni sabato sera karaoke e giropizza. Si offrono anche convenzioni aziendali.

La storia della Famiglia Castronovo

La trattoria Castronovo è un desiderio di ristorazione della famiglia Castronovo Michelangelo, nipote di Don Ciccio Castronovo, nato dopo tre generazioni di ristoratori.

Presenti sul territorio Bagherese già ai primi del novecento con la commercializzazione dell’uva, del mosto del vino e una friggitoria del momento, durante la seconda guerra mondiale ci avventuriamo nel fantastico mondo della taverna.

• Nel 1950 nacque a bagheria l’osteria Don Ciccio Castronovo nei pressi della Stazione Ferroviaria.

• Nel 1989 in Via Palagonia, Melchiorre Castronovo padre di Michelangelo aprì la “Trattoria da Melchiorre- figlio di Don Ciccio” fino al 2003

In quest’ultimo ventennio la voglia di crescere e temprare sempre di più nel settore ricettivo ha fatto si che il nipote Castronovo Michelangelo e la sua Famiglia  si specializzassero in realtà come Hoteleria, eventi privati, ricevimenti e attività di ristorazione tipica su Bagheria e Cefalù

Volare Restaurants Ltd has been trading since 2007, and still improving the customer experience as the restaurant has been refurbished with a new suspended ceiling and a new bar... We always strive to give you the best Italian produce at  good value for money during these times of economic hardship. Partners and Hosts Onofrio Maimone and Cinzia Lopalco say "When you come to our place, we'll make all efforts to make sure you feel like you are on holiday in Italy for as long as your stay!".

Onofrio is from Sicily and has an extensive experience in catering. He's been working in the trade all his life and is the chef/proprietor of the establishment.

Cinzia is from Puglia and has been managing holiday farms, where she's learnt the trade and all the aspects of day to day running of kitchen and front of house. In the kitchen, Jason Maimone is our head chef in the kitchen and has followed in Onofrios footsteps and has learnt everything there is to know from his father, he is very talented, very motivated to keep high standards and eager to takeover one day along with his wife Victoria Maimone who is once again very talented in the front of house and she strives to make everyone feel welcomeand enjoy their meal or special occasions with us

At Volare, we have excellent food and a large Wine list to choose from. We source our ingredients locally and the rest is imported from Italy through a network of leading distributors.All this mixed with family style service gives you a true authentic taste of real Italy!

The Coach House Restaurant

Once a Coach house to the nearby Manor, this hidden restaurant tucked away in the grounds of the Garden Centre has an old world charm all of its own and has been a favourite for  discerning diners for nearly thirty years.

A wide choice of excellent dishes are on the menu with our produce fresh from the market daily. Our fine wine list complements the menu perfectly, and a special two-course menu is available at lunchtimes.

Ruxley Manor Garden Centre, within which lies The Coach House restaurant.

Way back in 1080, William the Conqueror gave the land at Rokesle, as it was then known, to his half-brother, Odo, Bishop of Baieux. He rented this out to a certain Malgerius who assumed the name Malgerius of Rokesdale. At that time, eight knights commanded by William were given the task of defending Dover Castle and Malgerius did his annual twenty-day stint.

To this day, you still enter Dover Castle through the Ruxley gate.

Down the ages, various families have occupied the Manor House. Gregory de Rokesdale became Lord Mayor of the City of London from 1274 to 1285, this being perpetuated in a tablet on the wall of Lloyds Bank in Lombard Street. The present house dates from the 17th Century with later additions, although some of the interior is probably 15th or 16th Century.

To the right of the house is a large Mulberry tree which goes back to between 1610AD and 1615AD, when it was decreed in James 1st time that all landowners should be encouraged to produce silk. However, silkworms only enjoyed white mulberries and, unfortunately, the blue variety was planted.

Today, the Manor House has been converted into a Children’s Day Nursery under the name of Grace’s, she being the last member of the family to live there.

Veneto Restaurant is one of the few authentic Italian restaurants in Chania. It is located at one of the most popular streets of the town, in a Venetian building of the 15th century.

The noble and romantic atmosphere of Veneto, in combination to the unique dishes, place the restaurant among the bests of its kind.

The experienced chef of Veneto prepares dishes that satisfy even the most demanding palate, without forgetting every day’s special. Most customers take under serious consideration his opinion on what to order.

Pizzeria La Tavernetta è gestita dalla famiglia Berton dal 1999. Amore, passione, dedizione e ricerca sono le parole che ci caratterizzano.

Le nostre pizze sono fatte con impasti a lunga maturazione, di nostra produzione e con lievito madre per un alta digeribilità. Impasto tradizionale con farine selezionate e 100% italiane di tipo "1", Kamut, Rustico con una miscela di farine integrali e aggiunta di semi di lino, sesamo e miglio.

Per gli intolleranti o allergici c'è l'impasto senza glutine anch'esso di nostra produzione. Periodicamente proponiamo pizze e piatti con prodotti stagionali e di prima qualità.

Disponiamo di varie sale con capienze diverse, tra le quali una taverna da dove deriva il nome della pizzeria, per dare ai nostri clienti la possibilità di scegliere dove trascorrere la loro serata. In questo modo possiamo ospitare sia gruppi che famiglie.
