The best Italian restaurant on Poole Quay and only a stone’s throw away from the water’s edge. Established in 1993, Da Vinci’s is a family-run business, specialising in fresh local ingredients, cooked in true Italian style.

Whether you are seeking a casual pizza supper in a cosy Italian atmosphere or an exceptional meal in a venue that can cater for your special occasion, Da Vinci’s has the answer. Our beautiful Italian restaurant in Poole has a large outside eating area overlooking the Quay, perfect for enjoying a drink al fresco. Inside, there is a warm and homely downstairs dining room and upstairs our bright dining room features seven windows overlooking the harbour.

Wir haben unser erstes Restaurant (Zi Teresa) 1986 in Preetz eröffnet und es 21 Jahre lang geführt. Danach eröffneten wir ein Eiscafé und Ende 2011 eröffneten wir das Restaurant „Claudio" in Preetz mit Eis und Kaffeespezialitäten und italienischer Küche mit ausgewählten Produkten. Unsere Gerichte werden immer frisch zubereitet und mit frischen Kräutern verfeinert. Wir bieten ebenfalls ein reichhaltiges Sortiment an Weinen an und beraten sie gerne bei der Auswahl. Engagieren Sie unsere Küche für ein raffiniertes Catering oder Buffet.

MADE IN ITALY est un authentique restaurant italien. Il est géré par trois frères Del Grosso, en provenance d'Ancône sur la mer Adriatique.

En 2005, les frères et leur famille se sont rendus en Belgique avec un engagement à promouvoir la cuisine italienne. Typique de cette cuisine est la variété et la saisonnalité des plats de pâtes. Chef cuisinier Raffaele Del Grosso prépare avec "la mamma" des plats traditionnels et modernes.

Raffaele étudié dans une école de cuisine italienne de renom et a travaillé à plusieurs reprises avec les plus grands chefs. Le style cuisine italienne, avec des ingrédients frais, veille à ce que aux saveurs des plats.

Notre histoire

Depuis que nous avons ouvert nos portes en 2017, notre objectif est resté le même : proposer des plats et produits typiques italiens à emporter. Notre entreprise familiale évolue en permanence, tout comme notre appétit pour de nouvelles recettes créatives. Notre chef propose des plats traditionnels d'Italie et de Sicile, et expérimente sans cesse de nouvelles combinaisons de goûts et de saveurs. Volare Restaurants Ltd has been trading since 2007, and still improving the customer experience as the restaurant has been refurbished with a new suspended ceiling and a new bar... We always strive to give you the best Italian produce at  good value for money during these times of economic hardship. Partners and Hosts Onofrio Maimone and Cinzia Lopalco say "When you come to our place, we'll make all efforts to make sure you feel like you are on holiday in Italy for as long as your stay!".

Onofrio is from Sicily and has an extensive experience in catering. He's been working in the trade all his life and is the chef/proprietor of the establishment.

Cinzia is from Puglia and has been managing holiday farms, where she's learnt the trade and all the aspects of day to day running of kitchen and front of house. In the kitchen, Jason Maimone is our head chef in the kitchen and has followed in Onofrios footsteps and has learnt everything there is to know from his father, he is very talented, very motivated to keep high standards and eager to takeover one day along with his wife Victoria Maimone who is once again very talented in the front of house and she strives to make everyone feel welcomeand enjoy their meal or special occasions with us

At Volare, we have excellent food and a large Wine list to choose from. We source our ingredients locally and the rest is imported from Italy through a network of leading distributors.All this mixed with family style service gives you a true authentic taste of real Italy!

Un ristorante sospeso tra mare e cielo.

Situato all’interno dell’ascensore del Passetto, il ristorante “L’Ascensore” offre un vero viaggio attraverso i sapori, gli aromi e i colori del mare. La sua cucina è un vero connubio tra tradizione e innovazione, la quale abbina piatti della tradizione marchigiana e mediterranea, a piatti rivisitati con fantasia e originalità.

“L’Ascensore” offre un panorama unico, in uno dei luoghi più suggestivi di Ancona. Affacciato sulla spiaggia del Passetto, una delle spiagge metropolitane più belle d’Italia, è la location perfetta per assaporare una cucina schietta, fatta di ricette curiose e immediate. Una cucina con una personalità ben definita, che propone una selezione delle migliori materie prime locali, lavorate con estro e genuinità.

Un locale magico e fortemente evocativo: l’ambiente richiama i colori del mare, con grandi nasse da pesca artigianali diventate autentici lampadari. L’atmosfera coloniale è accompagnata da arredi sobri ma eleganti, da una cucina a vista e da grandi vetrate affacciate sullo strepitoso panorama. Il progetto ha generato qualcosa di affascinante ed esclusivo, che vuole unire la tradizione marinara a quella razionalista degli anni 50. Ai muri alcune belle immagini d’autore ci presentano le straordinarie albe al Passetto e ci trasportano fino ai portoni colorati delle grotte.
