TRADIZIONE DI FAMIGLIA

Costruito negl’anni ottanta, dispone di venti camere strutturate su due piani ed arredate in modo sobrio e funzionale. Tutte e venti le stanze sono  sia ad uso  singola  che matrimoniale; e in quelle più grandi,  c’è la possibilità di aggiungere un terzo letto.

LE CAMERE

Ogni camera è dotata di servizio privato con doccia, telefono con chiamata diretta, televisione, Wi-FI gratuito e terrazzino o balcone, dalla maggior parte dei quali si può godere di una splendida vista mare.

IL GIARDINO

Nel giardino che circonda l’Albergo potrete rilassarvi all’ombra delle secolari querce leggendo o gustando una bibita fresca dopo una giornata di sole.

RISTORANTE
La cucina dell’Albergo Ristorante “Le Querce”, gestita dagli stessi proprietari, è particolarmente accurata, a cominciare dalla scelta degli ingredienti che devono essere assolutamente genuini e che in parte vengono prodotti direttamente nei loro orti, seguendo le regole dell’agricoltura biologica.

Il pesce, elemento base di numerosi piatti, viene pescato tutti i giorni nelle acque di Ponza e cucinato nei più svariati modi.

Lo Chef vi farà assaporare deliziosi spaghetti con gamberi e rucola, spaghetti alla polpa di pesce, pennette alla pescatrice, pasta e fagioli con le cozze, cianfotta, insalata ponzese, zuppa di lenticchie o cicerchie, pesce spada alla marinara, fritto misto di paranza, nasello alla siciliana, purpitielli affogati, cernia con patate e tante altre specialità della cucina tipica isolana.

La colazione viene preparata con dolci fatti in casa, e con prodotti del nostro orto. Magnifiche crostate con marmellate di arance, albicocche, prugne e fichi.

Veranstaltungen

Neben dem Innenraum verfügt das Restaurant La Villetta auch über zwei Außenterrassen, auf denen einmal im Monat Veranstaltungen mit Live-Musik organisiert werden.

The Chef

Santino wurde 1967 in Italien geboren und zeigte schon in jungen Jahren seine Leidenschaft für die Welt der Gastronomie, indem er in der Küche arbeitete. Bis heute kann er auf mehr als 40 Jahre Erfahrung in diesem Bereich zurückblicken.
Im Jahr 2017 beschloss er, das Restaurantgeschäft in Italien zu verlassen und sich einer neuen Herausforderung zu stellen: die erworbenen Werte und die Leidenschaft der italienischen Küche ins Ausland zu übertragen.

Ercole Gaetano vertrok in 1972 vanuit het uiterste puntje van de Laars van  Italië naar Nederland.

Om er zeven jaar later in Dordrecht de deuren van zijn restaurant Gaetano-Alexa te openen. De bedoeling was een klein stukje van zijn geboortegrond Calabrië te introduceren in de historische, Dordtse binnenstad.

Dat hij daarvoor een van de fraaiste monumenten uitkoos, die de Oudste stad van Holland rijk is, lag voor de hand.  Deze locatie straalt precies dat pittoreske uit waar zijngasten zo naar op zoek zijn.

Het pand aan de Voorstraat kent een rijke historie. Verdeeld over drie lagen ademen de authentieke balken een sfeer uit van weleer. Het pand heeft een typische 17e eeuwse gevel in Renaissance-stijl. Het interieur bevat tal van authentieke details, waaronder unieke tegeltableau's.

Our menu is a tribute to the classic flavours and recipes of Italy, prepared with love and passion. You can look forward to crispy pizzas, freshly made pasta and a selection of tantalising antipasti that leave nothing to be desired.

In our Risto pizzeria, you can experience the culinary diversity of Italy up close. In addition to our popular pizzas and pasta dishes, we also offer a slice of Napoli street food - a real highlight for all lovers of Italian street food. Our dishes are prepared according to traditional recipes and with carefully selected ingredients.

Our Risto-Pizzeria Raoul's not only offers culinary delights, but also a special ambience for various occasions. Enjoy warm summer evenings in our cosy beer garden, which can accommodate up to 120 people. For larger events, you can use our main hall, which offers space for 50-60 guests and is ideal as an event location. Our adjoining room also invites you to linger in our stylish lounge, which can accommodate around 40 people.

About Us

Established in 1987, we are an independent, family run traditional Italian restaurant

based at the start of Compstall Road in Romiley, Stockport. Specialising in rustic Italian

home style cooking, open evenings only - 5pm till 10pm everyday except Monday.

Who is the Italian?

Originally from Naples, owner Ferdinando Mercogliano studied at catering schools in Vico Equense and in the centre of Naples before working across Italy and Switzerland, settling in England in the early 80’s.

Our recipes and the ideology behind everything we do and make come from Ferdinando. Many of the dishes we make here today are made the same way that he learnt from his mother and grandmother. Hailing from a part of Naples famous for its pasta making history, cooking is in the Mercogliano family blood.

Now a grandfather, Ferdinando is based both here in Stockport and in Lucca, Tuscany. Sharing his time between Italy and England means Ferdinando guarantees constant fresh and original menu ideas, using the best local and seasonal ingredients. Trusting the day to day running of the kitchen to a carefully selected fantastic team of chefs.

In charge of the restaurant you will find his eldest son Alessandro. A true typical Italian family business!

Ferdinando's deep passion for Italian cooking is infectious and it has truly passed down in the generations of his family. Our heads, hands and hearts are firmly in the kitchen and we are driven to offer customers good food, value for money and a true taste of Italy.

Now well into our 37th year of trading here in Romiley, we are more passionate than ever for what we do. We have recently expanded, and we now have 8 more tables in a new downstairs area. Complete with another bar, facilities and our usual friendly service.

Our philosophy is simplicity, quality, authenticity and big flavours, in a fun and bustling typical southern Italian environment. With us you will always be guests and never customers. Learning and growing day by day, we are truly humbled by your regular custom.
