Our families and friends call us Vagabondi—wanderers—as we’ve always had wanderlust in our eyes.
We met in 2000 and have shared countless life experiences, living and traveling together across the globe. No matter where we landed, we always found ways to create a "home away from home." We soon realized that what always eased our homesickness was serving the enduring meals of Naples on our table.
As we grew older, our desire to find a place to put down roots grew stronger. The Pizza Vagabond was actually born many years ago when we realized that we always found and returned to "our home" through eating, making, and sharing our traditional food of Naples.

Nous proposons une cuisine familiale pour ravir vos papilles, composée essentiellement de produits italiens provenant directement d’Italie.
Nos pâtes "al bronzo" (pâtes qualitativement supérieures tréfilées avec un moule en bronze, ce qui permet une meilleure absorbtion et adhérence de la sauce) sont cuites à la commande et accompagnées de sauces élaborées par nos soins, nos pizzas sont étalées à la main, cuites au feu de bois, leurs garnitures préparées par nos soins et tranchées à la minute et pour finir, nos desserts sont faits maison.
Convivialité, plaisir, partage, ambiance et musique italiennes, tous les éléments sont réunis pour que vous puissiez apprécier cette escapade dans un petit coin d'Italie à Morières les Avignon.

Il locale nasce dalla passione dei titolari che hanno voluto portare nella piccola frazione di Fognano i sapori del Sud Italia, valorizzando impasti fatti a mano e prodotti di qualità. La pizza è cotta nel forno a legna ed è uno degli elementi centrali dell’offerta, ma il menù include anche antipasti, pizze con ingredienti classici e speciali, nonché piatti legati alla tradizione meridionale.

About Carlo
I was born in Sorrento and started to work in the kitchen at a young age. Cooking has always been my passion and my dream has always been to own a restaurant – finally my wish came true in the beautiful picturesque village of Boston Spa Wetherby!
As my mama used to say :

Pizza al volo è una pizzeria al taglio situata nel centro di Alassio nel famoso budello in attività da almeno 50 anni
Ercole Gaetano vertrok in 1972 vanuit het uiterste puntje van de Laars van Italië naar Nederland.
Om er zeven jaar later in Dordrecht de deuren van zijn restaurant Gaetano-Alexa te openen. De bedoeling was een klein stukje van zijn geboortegrond Calabrië te introduceren in de historische, Dordtse binnenstad.
Dat hij daarvoor een van de fraaiste monumenten uitkoos, die de Oudste stad van Holland rijk is, lag voor de hand. Deze locatie straalt precies dat pittoreske uit waar zijngasten zo naar op zoek zijn.
Het pand aan de Voorstraat kent een rijke historie. Verdeeld over drie lagen ademen de authentieke balken een sfeer uit van weleer. Het pand heeft een typische 17e eeuwse gevel in Renaissance-stijl. Het interieur bevat tal van authentieke details, waaronder unieke tegeltableau's.
