Von ihr stammt unsere Leidenschaft für die italienische Küche – eine ehrliche, echte Leidenschaft, geprägt von einfachen Gesten, vertrauten Düften und Rezepten, die mit Liebe von Generation zu Generation weitergegeben wurden und schliesslich heute bei mir angekommen sind.

Seit 2025 haben wir im Herzen von Altstätten (SG) einen Ort geschaffen, der mehr ist als nur ein Restaurant. Es ist ein Stück Italien, ein Ort der Herzlichkeit, an dem Tradition, Qualität und Respekt für beste Zutaten im Mittelpunkt stehen. Jedes Gericht erzählt ein Kapitel unserer Familiengeschichte und wird mit derselben Hingabe, Sorgfalt und Liebe zubereitet, die Mamma Teresa einst täglich in ihre Küche gelegt hat. Für uns ist Kochen weit mehr als nur Nahrung – es ist Teilen, Emotion und Gastfreundschaft. Eine warme, einladende Atmosphäre sowie ein aufmerksamer, herzlicher Service sorgen dafür, dass sich jeder Gast bei uns wie zu Hause fühlt.

Our families and friends call us Vagabondi—wanderers—as we’ve always had wanderlust in our eyes. 

We met in 2000 and have shared countless life experiences, living and traveling together across the globe. No matter where we landed, we always found ways to create a "home away from home." We soon realized that what always eased our homesickness was serving the enduring meals of Naples on our table.

As we grew older, our desire to find a place to put down roots grew stronger. The Pizza Vagabond was actually born many years ago when we realized that we always found and returned to "our home" through eating, making, and sharing our traditional food of Naples.
