Siamo una conferma del lungomare di Marotta: una spiaggia curata cullata dal Mare Adriatico, un bar e ristorantino che offre qualità e piatti tipici con pescato del giorno freschissimo, il tutto contornato da un’atmosfera romantica e intima.

CHI SONO

Un visionario, un istintivo, un uomo in continuo divenire per il quale, l’arrivo, altro non è che una nuova partenza. Mi definiscono “pazzo”, ma che ben venga la follia, se serve a garantire la qualità a chi mi affida i suoi momenti di piacere.

Mi chiamo Daniele Donatelli e la mia storia comincia da lontano. Avevo quindici anni quando, nei periodi di stasi scolastica, mio padre mi obbligò ad andare a lavorare in una pizzeria. “Meglio a lavoro che in strada”, diceva, senza sapere che, con quella forzatura, mi stava regalando la chiave per aprire il futuro.

La passione per la pizza, mi ha preso sempre di più, fino ad arrivare a farmi maturare, la decisione di svolgere la doppia professione: geometra di giorno e pizzaiolo di sera. Come facevo a districarmi? Semplice con rigore e disciplina. Sono uno sportivo, sono stato un ciclista ed ho praticato per anni la corsa in bici su strada.

Lo sport mi ha insegnato a rimanere fisso e concentrato sui miei obiettivi, plasmandomi così come faccio io oggi con i miei impasti.

A Masevaux, la Trattotia se situe dans une des plus belles bâtisses de la ville, appréciée pour son charme et son authenticité.
C'est dans ce cadre que Maria-Antonietta et Sébastien compose à merveille une cuisine à la fois inventive, riche en saveurs, ensoleillée et raffinée. Les plats cuisinés avec passion, sont un mélange subtil entre tradition des Pouilles et gastronomie Sarde...
Le restaurant

Les pâtes fait maison sont préparées dans la plus pure tradition italienne.

On y vient pour manger les «raviolis maison», les «trofie aux brocolis», mais aussi une variation de mets d'une cuisine colorée et pétillante, aux parfums ensoleillés d'Italie. On y vient aussi pour déguster les pizzas savoureuses qui contribuent à la renommée de la maison.
On y vient surtout pour passer un moment agréable en famille ou entre amis dans un cadre chaleureux.

En été,une terrasse ombragée agrémentera vos repas d'une sensation de douceur toute méditerranéenne inoubliable ...

La nostra cucina è rinomata da sempre per l’attenzione che portiamo alla realizzazione dei piatti caratteristici della tradizione massese, e in particolar modo ai piatti di mare. 

Le sale grandi e luminose si prestano a cerimonie, rinfreschi, meeting e buffet.

About Us

Established in 1987, we are an independent, family run traditional Italian restaurant

based at the start of Compstall Road in Romiley, Stockport. Specialising in rustic Italian

home style cooking, open evenings only - 5pm till 10pm everyday except Monday.

Who is the Italian?

Originally from Naples, owner Ferdinando Mercogliano studied at catering schools in Vico Equense and in the centre of Naples before working across Italy and Switzerland, settling in England in the early 80’s.

Our recipes and the ideology behind everything we do and make come from Ferdinando. Many of the dishes we make here today are made the same way that he learnt from his mother and grandmother. Hailing from a part of Naples famous for its pasta making history, cooking is in the Mercogliano family blood.

Now a grandfather, Ferdinando is based both here in Stockport and in Lucca, Tuscany. Sharing his time between Italy and England means Ferdinando guarantees constant fresh and original menu ideas, using the best local and seasonal ingredients. Trusting the day to day running of the kitchen to a carefully selected fantastic team of chefs.

In charge of the restaurant you will find his eldest son Alessandro. A true typical Italian family business!

Ferdinando's deep passion for Italian cooking is infectious and it has truly passed down in the generations of his family. Our heads, hands and hearts are firmly in the kitchen and we are driven to offer customers good food, value for money and a true taste of Italy.

Now well into our 37th year of trading here in Romiley, we are more passionate than ever for what we do. We have recently expanded, and we now have 8 more tables in a new downstairs area. Complete with another bar, facilities and our usual friendly service.

Our philosophy is simplicity, quality, authenticity and big flavours, in a fun and bustling typical southern Italian environment. With us you will always be guests and never customers. Learning and growing day by day, we are truly humbled by your regular custom.
