Società Agricola Vigne Matte produces Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG in Rolle, within the Colline del Prosecco, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The name comes from the wild vineyard that once grew among the territory's millenary rocks. The vineyards lie in Rolle, a hamlet of Cison di Valmarino, within the Colline del Prosecco, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The oceanic geological formation and sandy subsoil, rich in natural mineral salts, give the wine its distinctive savour and aromas.
Millesimatte is born from a careful selection of the finest Glera grapes, with close attention paid to the land. The winemaking process respects the character of the grape variety and the territory, following the founding values of the winery.
The winery was carved into the hillside, offering ideal conditions for vinification and ageing. The sandy subsoil lends the wines the mineral notes that mark the production of Vigne Matte.
