In the fertile lands between Argenta and Portomaggiore, Società Agricola Farina 2.0 has been growing excellent watermelons, melons and pumpkins since 1975, from sowing through to distribution. Founded by Roberto Farina and renewed with the arrival of his son Marcello in the 2000s, the company combines farming tradition with advanced agronomic management. Selected varieties such as Sentinel watermelons and Saphir melons come from rigorous rotation, targeted irrigation and elite seed selection. Alongside its fruit and vegetable produce, the company also supplies seasoned firewood with delivery across the Ferrara area and the lower Ravenna area.
The origins
Società Agricola Farina 2.0 traces its roots back to 1975, when Roberto Farina began cultivation in the fertile lands between Argenta and Portomaggiore.

The range includes smooth-skinned melons of the Bacir type with the Saphir variety, and early netted melons with the Graffio variety. All melons stand out for their high Brix level and good post-harvest shelf life.
The Delica, Butternut Ines, wrinkled Butternut, Halloween, Musquée de Provence and Lunga piena di Napoli varieties serve different purposes, from cooking to decoration. The pumpkins are well suited to risottos, veloutés and traditional preparations.
