The place
Il Galeone di San Prospero is a restaurant-pizzeria built as a real wooden galleon, complete with rigging and lanterns, rising from the plain of Modena. Under the same hull live together a fish restaurant, a pizzeria with a wood-fired oven and an artisan gelateria. The pizzas, baked in the wood-fired oven with long-leavened doughs, are served alongside dishes of fish fresh from the day's catch and homemade gelato.
