The place
Since 1960 SAD Salotti has carried on, in Castel d'Azzano, the Veronese tradition of handcrafted upholstery. In its own workshop it produces sofas, armchairs, beds and accessories with customized work: design, padding, depth and seat height all tailored to each client. The business founded by Danilo Angiari continues with his son Alessandro and the third generation. It also offers a restoration and reupholstery service.

What Danilo started in a home garage is today a historic shop run by the third generation of the family, with more than sixty years of craft behind it.

Every project starts with an analysis of the spaces and the habits of those who will live with the furniture. Dimensions, depth and seat height are defined case by case, even before materials and finishes are chosen.
Padding, upholstery and finishing details are all selected according to the client's wishes. Nothing is standardized: every choice contributes to a result that matches the person who commissioned it.
On existing sofas and armchairs, SAD Salotti reinforces the original structure and renews its appearance and comfort, with the same artisan approach reserved for new production.
The service includes an on-site inspection, crafting, delivery and assembly on location. The whole process stays in-house from start to finish, with no intermediate steps to break the continuity of the project.

Handmade with full customization options: from the frame to the padding, through to the choice of fabrics and finishes among those available in the showroom.
Work on existing furniture to renew padding and upholstery, restoring original comfort and appearance. A courtesy sofa on loan is available during restoration.
The service includes an inspection at the client's home to assess spaces, needs and the most suitable solutions, helping choose fabrics and finishes directly on location.
SAD Salotti handles delivery and assembly of the new furniture, collection of the old piece and its disposal, as well as sanitizing and cleaning services for upholstery.
