The place
ROSARIUM BY MAURIZIO TINI is an artisan goldsmith's workshop in Perugia where the art of jewellery-making meets Marian devotion. Maurizio Tini, trained at the institute of art and a goldsmith for almost thirty-five years, created the Rosarium ring in 2006, a ring-rosary that gave its name to the entire collection. Made in silver with blue enamel or in gold with red enamel — the colours of Mary's mantle and robe — the ring is large and richly textured, designed to be seen and to be prayed with, its ten beads clearly defined.
The origins
The Tini family's goldsmith business began in 1981 in Perugia, in a thirteen-square-metre workshop where Maurizio worked alongside his brother Moreno.

Maurizio Tini makes every piece of jewellery himself in his workshop in Perugia, drawing on almost thirty-five years of goldsmithing experience. The workshop, which clients can visit, preserves the gestures and tools of Italian artisan tradition.
The Rosarium ring is made in silver with blue enamel or in yellow gold with red enamel, the traditional colours of Mary's mantle and robe. The ten beads are clearly defined so the rosary can be recited on the ring itself.
The workshop creates episcopal crosses and personalised jewellery for parishes and church communities. Each commissioned piece grows out of listening closely to the client's needs and the ability to translate the symbols of faith into gold and silver.
