The place
In Hessigkofen, at the heart of the Swiss Bucheggberg, Taverna Romana has offered Italian cuisine where tradition meets creativity since 2011. Mariana and Daniel Meola, drawing on experience gained in family restaurants between Rome, Berlin and Twann, have built an establishment recognised with 13 Gault Millau points. The cellar, awarded 17 Weinwisser points, holds wines from every Italian region and more than fifty grappas. Three rooms welcome up to eighty people for lunches, dinners and banquets.
