The place
Ristorante Da Nicò - Trattoria del Porto is one of Sanremo's historic excellences, operating since 1935 in Piazza Bresca, just steps from the Teatro Ariston and the harbour. Four generations of the Martino family have handed down a passion for traditional Ligurian and Calabrian cooking, with chef Marco Martino offering a menu built on fresh fish from the Ligurian Sea, along with locally sourced crustaceans and molluscs. The celebrated Brandacujun, awarded by chef Alessandro Borghese, is one of the specialities, alongside gamberoni di Sanremo and dishes prepared with seasonal vegetables.
