The place
Re Tartù agli Orti stands at the foot of the Basilica of Assisi, set among centuries-old olive trees and gardens in Borgo Antichi Orti. Chef Ilaria Ripanti offers a reinvented take on Umbrian territorial cuisine, where fresh truffle takes centre stage in refined, technically flawless dishes. The wine list offers a wide selection with particular attention to champagne. The atmosphere combines the rustic character of the setting with fine-dining service, with the option of dining outdoors while enjoying the view over Assisi.
