The place
Since 1999 the Berton family has welcomed guests to Pizzeria La Tavernetta in Tombolo, in the province of Padua. Marco, who attended the Università della Pizza (Pizza University) in 2013, personally oversees the sourdough with its long natural rise. The menu features three off-menu pizzas renewed monthly with seasonal vegetables and local products, alongside seasonal and classic pizzas baked in the wood-fired oven. Gluten-free options are also available. In 2018 the restaurant added a summer terrace and a relax area, while the kitchen offers alternative dishes to pizza.

The Berton family has run Pizzeria La Tavernetta in Tombolo, in the province of Padua, since 1999. Federico welcomes guests in the dining room, while Marco has been in charge of the dough since 2001.
