The place
Located in Davesco-Soragno, at the gates of Lugano, the Osteria Gallo d'Oro is a landmark of traditional Italian cooking in Ticino. For more than forty years, the restaurant has served classic Italian dishes, with particular attention to Tuscan recipes, where the quality of the ingredients and the homemade preparation of every speciality, from focacce to gelato, make all the difference. Today Stefano and his staff carry on the legacy of Matteo and Lisa, preserving the authentic, family atmosphere that has always defined the restaurant.
