The place
Operacaffe brings Tuscan tradition to the heart of San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter. The family-run restaurant is led by chef Patrizia Branchi, who since 1985 has preserved the memory of authentic Italian cooking. Homemade fresh pasta, wood-fired pizza, and ingredients imported directly from Italy make up a menu faithful to its roots, where technique becomes respect for raw ingredients.
