In Borgo Pio, in the heart of Rome, Mastrolorenzi Orologi has carried on since 1923 a tradition born as a goldsmith's workshop. Maestro Massimo and his son Mattia now run a boutique specializing in the buying and selling of vintage and modern luxury watches, combining technical expertise in watchmaking with artisan goldsmith creativity. Among the commissions that mark the business's history, the creation of the papal ring for Eugenio Pacelli, elected Pope Pius XII in 1939.
The origins
The first Mastrolorenzi goldsmith's workshop opened in the heart of Rome in 1923. Over the decades, the business has woven together artisan creativity and technical expertise.
