The place
La Focacceria Pugliese brings the authenticity of southern Italy's gastronomic tradition to Lisbon through two restaurants in the Portuguese capital. Founded by Alfredo Giangaspero, a native of Puglia who chose Portugal as his new homeland, the brand was born from a project to showcase the food and wine heritage of Puglia. Care in selecting ingredients, dedication to artisan work and a straightforward approach define an offering that celebrates the authentic flavours of a land with ancient traditions.
The origins
La Focacceria Pugliese was born from an encounter that changed the course of a life: Alfredo Giangaspero's love, a native of Puglia, for a Portuguese woman led him to leave Italy for Portugal.
Why you can trust it
LA FOCACCERIA PUGLIESE is a member of the Eccellenze Italiane network. The mark is registered in Italy and abroad: every certified business has a unique identifier, which can be checked at any time.
