The place
Inside the Passetto elevator, a symbol of Ancona built in the 1950s, Ristorante L'Ascensore offers an authentic journey through the flavours of the Adriatic Sea. The setting brings together seafaring tradition and rationalist atmosphere, with large artisanal fishing traps turned into chandeliers and wide windows offering a breathtaking view. The kitchen celebrates local excellence, with particular attention to moscioli, the wild mussels that are a Slow Food presidium. Understated furnishings, an open kitchen and fine-art photographs of the Passetto complete an experience of flavour and beauty.

Services and features
The wild mussels of the area, a Slow Food presidium, are served in their pure form to showcase a product exclusive to the Marche region.
A dish that interprets the Adriatic tradition with fresh ingredients, prepared according to classic methods of seafood cooking.
Cured meats are sliced in front of guests to ensure freshness and aroma, a care that extends beyond the seafood preparations.
Despite its maritime focus, the restaurant offers a good range of dishes for those following a vegetarian diet.
