In the well-suited territory of Montemarano, Il Cancelliere Azienda Vitivinicola Biologica farms Aglianico vineyards according to certified organic methods. The Romano family tends the vines surrounding the estate farmhouse and makes wine following the rural art passed down through the generations. From the experience of Soccorso and Pasqualina, combined with the agronomic expertise of their son Enrico, come wines that express the character of the Irpinia territory.

The vineyards of Il Cancelliere in Montemarano are farmed according to certified organic methods. The Aglianico grapes grow in the territory suited to Taurasi, cultivated by the Romano family.
The winemaking process is based on the rural art of wine passed down from generation to generation, knowledge that Soccorso Romano received from his father and now shares with his children.
In the winery, mostly used, non-new wood is employed to bring out the scents and aromas of the local grapes. The choice of tools and timing reflects the intent to preserve the character of the grapes.
Il Cancelliere follows the entire production cycle from vine to bottle. The wines are made exclusively from Aglianico grapes grown in the estate's own vineyards, vinified and aged in the family farmhouse.
