The place
In the heart of Fognano, Farine di Mela is a small treasure trove of Neapolitan spirit founded by Carmen and Carmine as a tribute to their Campanian roots. In 2025 the restaurant-pizzeria took first place worldwide in the pizza al metro pala category, crowning a path of excellence that began in 2023. The offering ranges from authentic Neapolitan pizza to traditional Campanian and Southern Italian dishes. Summer 2025 also sees Farine di Mela take centre stage in special evenings at Villa Corte di Fognano.
At the table
Farine di Mela was born in 2023 from the meeting of two Campanian roots and a corner of Romagna.

In the making · The craft
Neapolitan pizza is baked in the wood-fired oven according to tradition, with temperatures and timing calibrated to achieve the soft rim and crisp base characteristic of the Neapolitan school.
San Marzano DOP tomatoes come from Campania and form the base of many preparations, alongside selected ingredients that honour the quality of the cuisine's origins.
Carmine and Carmen personally oversee the dining room and the kitchen, ensuring direct hospitality and control over every stage of service, from preparing the dough to the pastry.
