The place
In the heart of Trastevere, Donkey Punch is a sandwich shop and beer house with a rock-and-roll atmosphere, where a large mural celebrates the genre's masters along an entire wall. The venue lets guests build their own sandwich, choosing from fresh, regionally sourced ingredients, with ample vegetarian and vegan options, and a selection of Italian and international craft beers. Run by Alessandro, it welcomes guests with personal recommendations.
At the table
Since 2011 Donkey Punch has served customisable sandwiches and craft beers in a space decorated with a mural dedicated to the great masters of rock and blues.
