The place
In the heart of Valsugana, at the foot of the Lagorai mountains, Crucolo has kept alive since 1782 a food and wine tradition spanning three centuries. For three generations the family has carried forward the artisan production of cured meats, speck and aged meats, alongside the affinage of Trentino cheeses and the distillation of traditional liqueurs, among them the historic Parampampoli. The business brings together a production workshop and Ristorante Rifugio Crucolo, the oldest osteria under continuous ownership.
