The place
Since 2015, Ciclope Tour has been accompanying visitors on a discovery of the Riviera dei Ciclopi in Acitrezza, aboard the Polifemo. It is a family-run operation, led by Cristian Marici, who knows every cove and rock of this coastline. The ninety-minute tour reaches the Grotte di Ulisse, passing the Isola Lachea, the Faraglioni and the Norman Castle of Aci Castello, with a stop for swimming in the Marine Protected Area. Dolphin watching, licence-free dinghy hire and tailor-made experiences with sunset aperitifs or on-board barbecues are also available.
The story
Ciclope Tour was founded in 2015 in Acitrezza to accompany visitors on a discovery of the Riviera dei Ciclopi.

Services and features
During the excursions, guests are shown the natural and geological features of the coast, from the Isola Lachea to the Faraglioni, from the columnar basalt formations to the Grotte di Ulisse. The tours include stops for swimming and snorkelling over the basalt seabeds of the Marine Protected Area.
A 5.4-metre dinghy is available for hire, for up to six people, with no boating licence required.
Tailor-made experiences are also offered, with sunset aperitifs and freshly grilled fish on board.
