The place
In the Quartiere delle ceramiche of Grottaglie, Ceramiche Arces has passed down artisan knowledge in the working of Apulian ceramics for five generations. The family workshop makes every piece entirely by hand, from throwing to decoration, using traditional techniques preserved over time. From hanging lights to decorative objects, from personalised wedding favours to artistic collections, every creation is born from the care of the Arces artisans.

Enter the mapIn the making · How it is made
Every piece of ceramic is born entirely from the hands of the Arces artisans, who shape the clay following traditional techniques passed down through five generations. No stage of production is entrusted to industrial processes.
The workshop employs the methods of traditional Grottaglie ceramics, from throwing to decoration. The Arces artisans preserve gestures and procedures that form part of the territory's artisan heritage.
Ceramiche Arces creates every piece according to the client's needs and tastes. Customisation extends to shapes, decorations and dimensions, adapting tradition to contemporary requests.
The workshop offers ceramics classes by appointment to bring the public closer to the art of ceramics. Participants can experience the working techniques under the guidance of the artisans.
