The place
Castellani Srl has been producing prescription and sun eyewear in Domegge di Cadore, at the heart of the Belluno eyewear district, since 1967. The company manages the entire production chain in-house, from moulds to small parts through to finished eyewear, with one hundred per cent Made in Italy certification issued by the Istituto per la Tutela dei Prodotti Italiani. Its range comprises around nine hundred models across the SOVER, NOEND, IBORGHESI, GIORNI, VULIWEAR and CASTELLANI OCCHIALI collections.
The origins
Castellani Srl was founded on the first of February 1967 by the couple Danilo and Dolores Castellani in Domegge di Cadore, a territory with a strong vocation for eyewear production.

Castellani Srl makes its own moulds in-house, ensuring design independence and the ability to develop both proprietary models and private-label products to clients' specifications.
Production includes parts in nickel silver, monel and nickel-free alloys: bridges, nose bridges, temple bars, end pieces and structural components for prescription and sun frames. This work takes place in dedicated in-house departments for metal components.
The company produces injected fronts, sheet-cut temples and plastic nose pads. Plastic working runs alongside metalworking to ensure versatility across the range of frames offered.
Finished eyewear is assembled from components made in the company's own departments. Managing the supply chain vertically allows control over quality and production times, from raw material to finished, delivered product.
