The quintessential Venetian pasta, similar to a thick spaghetti, is worked with just the right roughness to hold the sauce. Portions are generous, starting at two hundred grams.
The sauces range from Venetian tradition to national classics, from vegetarian options to those with cheese, game, meats and cured pork.
Alongside bigoli, the daily fresh pasta production includes other shapes, served in the same generous portions and paired with the same repertoire of sauces.
The cured meat and cheese boards feature prosciutto crudo di Soave (a cured ham from Soave) and buffalo mozzarella. Among the main courses, baccalà alla vicentina (Vicenza-style creamed salt cod) is served with polenta in the traditional way.
The desserts, drawn from Venetian and national tradition, are homemade by Nonna Papera, rounding out the menu with home-style pastry.

In the making · The method
Fresh pasta is made every day in the trattoria with selected ingredients. The artisan production ensures the texture and roughness needed to hold the sauce.
Bigoleria Alla Rocca favors raw materials from the Verona area, from prosciutto crudo di Soave to the ingredients for baccalà alla vicentina.
From the pasta to the desserts, the kitchen keeps the character of home cooking, with traditional Venetian recipes carried out using artisan methods.
