The place
Basilico e Pinoli was born in 2013 from the passion of Giorgio De Mattei, son of bakers who inherited the family's baking heritage. In Sanremo, along Corso Matuzia, this multifaceted place brings together a café and an artisan focacceria with an approach that favours quality and genuineness. The dough matures for thirty-six hours using tipo zero flour and a reduced percentage of yeast, while double baking gives it fragrance and lightness. From dawn to dusk it offers classic and gourmet focacce, sardenaira, torte verdi, fresh viennoiserie and the traditional baci di Sanremo, all served with eco-sustainable packaging.
