The place
Azienda Agricola Erbevive grows organic medicinal herbs in the fields of Vermiglio, where the plants grow listening to classical music. Founded by Sofia Panizza, the Trentino farm transforms its own crops into floral syrups, infusions, aromatic salts, flower-infused pasta and natural cosmetics, all organic and vegan certified. In the shop in Trento's historic centre, visitors can buy the products and take part in guided tastings.
The origin
Sofia Panizza founded Azienda Agricola Erbevive in 2012, bringing an unprecedented practice for growing medicinal herbs to the fields of Vermiglio.

The medicinal herbs grow in the fields of Vermiglio listening to classical music played through a system of loudspeakers. This practice defines the farm's melodic fields, giving a distinctive character to the organic cultivation.
All the medicinal herbs are grown according to the European organic standard. The finished products, both food and cosmetic, receive organic and vegan certification.
In the farm's workshops, medicinal herbs are artisanally transformed into floral syrups, infusions, Himalayan aromatic salts, flower-infused pasta and natural cosmetics. Extracts from the cultivated plants form the base of the products.
The shop in Trento allows for direct purchase of the food and beauty products. Tastings of herbal teas and syrups are organised in the shop, offering a way to discover the character of the different preparations.
