The place
In the Monferrato casalese, between the provinces of Alessandria, Vercelli and Pavia, Azienda Agricola Astori Dario grows rice in some of Piedmont's finest growing areas. Under the RisoGemma brand, the farm offers Carnaroli rice, maize and wheat processed into flours and ready-made preparations. Products can be bought directly at the farm's own shop on Via Pietro Toselli in Balzola.
