The place
Alimentari Schivo represents a rare story of commercial continuity: founded in 1885 in Gallio, the shop has reached its fifth generation without ever changing its calling. The business is devoted to selling food products from the Asiago Plateau, with particular attention to local cheeses and cured meats. Today it has two shops, in Gallio on Piazza Italia and in Asiago on Corso IV Novembre.
The origins
Alimentari Schivo was founded in 1885 in Gallio, on the initiative of the current owner's great-grandfather. Since then the business has passed from father to son, from grandfather to aunts and on to the present generation.
Why you can trust it
Alimentari Schivo is a member of the Eccellenze Italiane network. The mark is registered in Italy and abroad: every certified business has a unique identifier, which can be checked at any time.
