Run by the Gentili family, it offers an authentic experience of rural life with the Contadini Per Un Giorno initiative: guests can take part in the farm's activities, from potato harvesting to the herd's transhumance, watch calves and lambs being born, and feed the animals. The traditional kitchen uses the farm's own produce, with cooking done in the vintage wood-fired oven. Services and features
This initiative ("Farmers for a Day") lets guests take part in the farm's activities: from potato harvesting to sowing, from threshing to the herd's transhumance. Guests can witness the birth of calves and lambs, feed the animals and follow the daily work in the fields.
The traditional dining is built on the produce of the farm itself. The vintage wood-fired oven bakes potatoes and lasagne following local recipes, while the dishes follow the seasons and the availability of the harvest.
The grazing herd, calves, lambs and piglets live within the farm grounds. Guests can get close to the animals and observe the natural cycles of farming.
The setting among the mountains of the Valle Falacrina allows for hiking and mountain biking, walks through the woods in search of mushrooms and truffles. In winter the landscape is suited to snowshoeing.
The property organizes evenings enlivened by the organetto and the saltarello dance, expressions of local folk tradition. Massage and meditation sessions with professionals are also available.
